En Iwamua x Kind Designs:
Kind Designs brought Japanese master ceramists', En Iwamura, work to a scale previously impossible. With our expert 3D Design Team and technological capabilities we worked with En to print large-scale versions of his mountains from his Yama-Asobi solo exhibit
En’s mountains were displayed at the ReserveCup padel tournament. The Miami Seaplane Base hosted 10 of the world’s top Padel players, who competed in front of 1500 spectators over three days of thrilling play!
Through site-responsive installations En Iwamua investigates spatial relationships within the context of the Japanese philosophy of “Ma”—referring to the influence of the physical space between objects on the inner mental landscape of viewers.
Kind Design uses 3D Printing technology to print living seawalls that mimic coral reefs and mangroves.
